

Seppell,
Ivan 79, of Montgomery, IL formerly of Aurora, passed away
Friday, May 4, 2012 at Rush Copley Hospital after a brief
illness. He was born July 12, 1932 in Aurora, IL. Ivan served in
the U.S. Army during the
Korean War and graduated from Aurora College. He married
Marilee Feldott on October 16, 1954 at St. Mary's Catholic
Church. After having been employed by Northern Illinois Gas for
32 years he and his wife opened Jonlee Flowers in 1973. Ivan was
a member of Annunciation parish and with Marilee, founded the
"Light In My Life" Luminary program. He sat as a proud member of
the Board of Directors at the Paramount Arts Centre where he was
instrumental in the opening of the "Grand Gallery". Ivan is
survived by his wife, Marilee; three daughters, Lynn (Don) Paul,
Laura English, Lisa (Randy) Brown; four grandchildren, Ashley
and Andrew Brown and Erica and Emily Paul all of Aurora. Two
sisters, Clarine (the late Edwin) Gengler of Aurora and Mildred
(the late Leon) Feldott of Elburn; many nieces and nephews; and
his best friend, Bill Becker of Magnolia, TX. He is preceded in
death by his parents (Allie and Mary); his in-laws, (Francis and
Mildred); two brothers-in-law and one niece, Jody Rossler.
Family will be receiving guests Tuesday, May 8, 2012 from 4:00
p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Dieterle Memorial Home 1120 Broadway
Ave. Montgomery, IL. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m.,
Wednesday, May 9, 2012 led by Father Patrick Gillmeyer O.S.B. at
the funeral home. Interment will be at Marywood Cemetery in
